How to Format a Computer with Windows XP

How to format PC:- If you are using Windows XP and want to format your Windows version then the following steps will easily guide you throughout the process.

Firstly, insert the Windows XP CD ROM in the computer
Restart your computer
A message alike “Press any key to boot from CD” will appear on the screen; do as directed
To agree to the Microsoft License Agreement, click F8, when asked to do so
A reminder states about unallocated spaces, select the ones that are unallocated if you want to format those too
Press first D to deleted and key L for confirmation to approve the deletion of drives, NOTE: the capitalization of the letters "D and L" is not compulsory
Repeat the steps 5 and 6 until you are left with "Unallocated space" only
Press enter to install Windows to the unallocated space and select Standard format to perform complete formatting of your PC
PC must restart, change the local preferences when asked to
